Postponed Maintenance: DC5 – ACI IPN Switch Software Upgrade

We previously communicated that we would carry out scheduled maintenance work for the ACI platform in our Maidenhead (DC5) facility planned for 21:00(GMT) Wednesday 12th February. This new notification is to confirm that the work has been postponed until further notice.

Scheduled Maintenance: UK Route Reflector Replacement

As part of our commitment to quality and continual improvement, we will be carrying out activity within our UK network, specifically we will be conducting hardware replacement of a Route Reflector in the core network.

What will happen? Our network engineering team will perform this work and although we expect no interruption to service, however as with any maintenance there is an element of risk.

When will the work be carried out? The maintenance work will begin at 22:00 (GMT) on Tuesday, 18th February and last until 03:00(GMT) on Wednesday, 19th February.

Who will be completing the work? Our experienced iomart network and infrastructure team will handle all the work.

Will I experience downtime? As with any maintenance work, there is an increased risk to services, however the network is resilient and the iomart team are not expecting interruption to services.

Customers should consider their services to be “at risk” for the entire duration of the maintenance window.
