Scheduled Maintenance: Texas (Garland) USA Cogent Transit Network Link Upgrade

As part of our commitment to quality and continual improvement, we will be carrying out maintenance activity in Texas (Garland) USA to increase the bandwidth capacity of our Transit peering with Cogent.

What will happen? Our network engineering team will perform this work and although we expect no interruption to service, the works should be considered at-risk.

When will the work be carried out? The maintenance work will begin at 03:00 (CST) on Tuesday, 21st January 2025 and last until 06:00 (CST) on Tuesday, 21st January 2025.

Who will be completing the work? Our experienced iomart network and infrastructure team will handle all the work.

Will I experience downtime? As with any maintenance work, there is an increased risk to services. Customers should consider their services to be “at risk” for the entire duration of the maintenance window.

The server plesk56.hostinguk.net is undergoing a restart to resolve a fault. The server is expected back online shortly.

Issue affecting sql9,sql10,sql11

Engineers are working to resolve a fault with Microsoft SQL server 02.mssql.db.hostinguk.net, this is also known as SQL9, SQL10, and SQL11.

The server is being rebooted to resolve an error, and should be back online shortly.

Cloud Platform Maintenance 28/08/2024 11 AM

As part of our ongoing commitment to continual improvement, we will be carrying out some maintenance on our cloud server platform on Wed 28 Aug 2024 at 11 AM.

The maintenance is expected to take no longer than 60 minutes and no downtime to Virtual Servers is expected.

Update: The maintenance on our cloud server platform has now been complete

During the maintenance window, customers will not be able to control cloud servers via the Hosting UK Client Area,
