Maintenance: DC5 – ACI Hardware & Software Upgrade

As part of our commitment to quality and continual improvement, iomart will be carrying out maintenance on the 7th & 8th December 2024. The work will specifically involve the network in Data Centre Maidenhead (DC5). We are writing to inform you of our intention to carry out this maintenance.

What will happen?

During the maintenance window the resilient Data Centre Switching Fabric in DC5 will be upgraded.

When will the work be carried out?

The maintenance work will commence at 09:00 (GMT) on Saturday, 7th December 2024 and last until 21:00 (GMT) on Sunday, 8th December 2024.

Who will be completing the work?

All updates to the DC5 devices will be carried out by our iomart network team.

Will I experience downtime?

Due to multiple levels of resiliency in the DC5 Data Centre Switching Fabric there is no expected downtime during the work.

Emergency Network Maintenace

At 23:00 tonight, 08/01/2024, our Network Engineers will be performing emergency maintenance to one of our ACI network switches in our MaidenHead DataCentre.

The maintenance window will begin at 23:00 (GMT) on Monday, 08th January and last until 03:00 (GMT) on Tuesday, 09th January.

No downtime is expected during the window, but services are considered at risk for the duration.
