Scheduled Maintenance: Texas (Garland) USA Cogent Transit Network Link Upgrade

As part of our commitment to quality and continual improvement, we will be carrying out maintenance activity in Texas (Garland) USA to increase the bandwidth capacity of our Transit peering with Cogent.

What will happen? Our network engineering team will perform this work and although we expect no interruption to service, the works should be considered at-risk.

When will the work be carried out? The maintenance work will begin at 03:00 (CST) on Tuesday, 21st January 2025 and last until 06:00 (CST) on Tuesday, 21st January 2025.

Who will be completing the work? Our experienced iomart network and infrastructure team will handle all the work.

Will I experience downtime? As with any maintenance work, there is an increased risk to services. Customers should consider their services to be “at risk” for the entire duration of the maintenance window.

Issue with mail deliverability

We are currently investigating the cause behind the issue with mail delays. We are aware that one of our IP addresses in use was blocked by an RBL, however, this has since been removed.

We believe most issues should now be resolved, however, as this appears to be an intermittent problem, it may be that some email delays may still occur.

We will provide a further update as soon as we have one.
