Planned Maintenance: DC5-unity-04 Upgrade Scheduled 28-03-24 2300 - 30-03-24 0200(GMT)

As part of our commitment to quality and continual improvement, iomart will be carrying out planned work on 28/03/24. The work will be an upgrade to the SAN Operating Environment (OE).

The maintenance work will begin at 23:00 (GMT) on 28th Mar and last until 02:00 (GMT) on 30th Mar.

Maintenance: Update – Storage Array Upgrade of Operating System and Disk Firmware

The maintenance work will begin at 23:00 (BST) on 1st April and last until 03:00 (BST) on 2nd April.

Emergency Network Maintenance

What will happen?

A potential issue has been identified with the integrity of a small number of SSD Drives within ACI leaf switches that may result in an unscheduled outage if not addressed. In order to mitigate this risk we are continuing to replace these affected switches with new ones.

All of the work will be completed by our experienced iomart network team with Cisco TAC assistance and onsite supporting technical teams.

Throughout the window services will be AT RISK.  You may experience short periods of minor packet loss during the window, which will show as slow performance.  We do not expect any downtime as a result of this maintenance.

Emergency Network Maintenance

Our networks team have notified us that they plan to complete emergency maintenance to fully resolve the issue that caused the outage earlier today.

This work will occur during a maintenance window starting 28/8/2020 23:00 to 29/8/2020 06:00, and all of the work will be completed by our experienced iomart network team with Cisco TAC assistance if required.

During this maintenance window between 28/8/2020 23:00 to 29/8/2020 06:00 we expect a brief outage lasting no more than 5 minutes.

Drive Replcament - Venom.xssl.net

We have identified a failed drive in the array on the server venom.xssl.net. This server has been shutdown while the faulty drive is being replaced.
